I took my dog Run there for an emergency visit my vet was on vacation. I had never been to Quakertown veterinary clinic before. He was having trouble breathing due to his enlarged heart. They took him back right away and put him on oxygen while they retrieved information from me. Then they took me back and within a couple of minute's a vet saw me and gave me the information of what they could do for Run. Everyone I dealt with was so compassionate and wanted to do what was best for Run. I cannot thank Quakertown veterinary service's enough for everything they did. Everyone I talk to about the situation I recommend their service's. I also receive a lot of positive feedback from people I did not know went there. They truly care about your pet first. Thank you!

I had to put my 17 year old dog to sleep last evening and the staff at 2 in the morning couldn’t have been more fantastic. It was an unfortunate but peaceful experience and I’m so grateful for their kindness and care in that moment. Yall are the best.

Fantastic service, well worth the drive it might take for exotic animal care. I have heard it is quite hard to find places where it is clear that 1.) the staff care and 2.) You are not pressured into any one given option. I was told very clearly all of my choices and potential prices before anything was done. It was beyond clear to me how much each staff member and vet I interacted with that evening cared. For the evening I went the emergency services were quick and also incredibly considerate of my situation. It made my incredibly difficult situation as easy and as comfortable as it could possibly be.

I don't understand how this place has so many good reviews. We took my dog here for an emergency (she was having frequent vomiting and diarrhea). They took an X-ray, said they found nothing, and sent her home with no medication, X-ray follow-up, or continuity of care. When we took her to our regular vet's office during normal business hours, she was diagnosed with colitis, with significant findings on a repeat x-ray, and needed to be hospitalized. When speaking with others, they shared similar experiences of neglect at Quakertown. I'd definitely think twice before sending my pet here and will go elsewhere if my dog has a future emergency, especially because they charged us $735 for nothing, and we still had to get additional care. UPDATE based on owner response: my review did accurately represent the care my dog was given. We did follow up with our regular vet and regular emergency vet following this visit, who provided us with actual care and follow up, based on the same information that was given to your clinic. She was diagnosed with intestinal cancer and died 2 weeks ago. The clinic also continues to respond by disclosing private medical information about my dog, which is a violation of veterinary ethics.
