Dr. Jennifer Barnard practices at our Kingwood, WV hospital and joined us in December of 2021. Dr. Barnard grew up on a farm in Garrett County Maryland where her love for animals started. When Dr. Barnard started her involvement with 4-H and FFA projects with raising sheep, pigs, and steers her passion for animals continued to grow. Following graduation from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine, she spent 9 years in a mixed animal practice in central Pennsylvania. In 2014 she returned home to Garrett County where she currently resides with her partner, Chris, two rescue dogs named Tula and Thelo and 1 cat named Mitsu. In her free time Dr Barnard can be found outdoors hiking, camping or gardening. She also loves to travel and takes every opportunity possible to see live music. Dr. Barnard looks forward to meeting you and caring for your pet family.
