Dr. Devon Koehler is an Associate Veterinarian at AVS Mountainland with roots in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She discovered her calling while attending West Virginia University, where she earned dual bachelor’s degrees in Wildlife & Fisheries Resources and Recreation, Parks, & Tourism. During her time in Morgantown, she began working at a local veterinary clinic and quickly realized her passion for animal care.
Dr. Koehler earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Long Island University, graduating cum laude. Now back in West Virginia—a place she fell in love with during her college years—she is honored to provide compassionate veterinary care to the local community.
She shares her home with two cats, Phyllis and Stanley, and a dog named Sturgill. In her free time, Dr. Koehler enjoys outdoor adventures with her fiancé, Alan, including hiking, kayaking, and camping. She’s also an enthusiastic supporter of WVU sports and never misses the chance to cheer on the Mountaineers in the fall.
